Did you know that by switching 1 out of 10 meals to alternative proteins we can avoid as much carbon emissions as global aviation produces in an average year? We worked with Boston Consulting Group and Blue Horizon to explain how investing in sustainable food systems and alternative proteins can have a great impact in reducing the world’s carbon emissions.

Impactful visual concept

It was important to us to show the impact of our food choices on the planet through a visual concept. This has been done by using an aerial shot, beginning with a close-up view of a round plate and gradually ascending to reveal the Earth in its entirety, symbolizing the interconnectedness between our meals, animal agriculture, and global aviation. Throughout the animation, a consistent theme of central circular subjects and dolly camera movements is maintained. This is just one of many ways of using visual concepts to emphasize a connection, topic or key point.
