Novo Nordisk Foundation
Science Stories Worth Sharing
Novo Nordisk Foundation is an independent, Danish enterprise foundation that supports scientific, humanitarian and social causes. Each year the Foundation awards billions in grants for new projects and initiatives. Over the years we’ve been so fortunate to help them promote some of these fantastic stories as animations.
Cell therapy breakthrough
“Imagine a future where chronic diseases can be cured, not just managed.“ This is the opening line in this animation. Here the Novo Nordisk Foundation announced a major investment that fills a critical gap in moving promising breakthrough cell therapy candidates from the lab and into clinical trials, with the potential for major impacts on health systems and patients. They named it the Novo Nordisk Foundation Cellerator.
Capture and recycle CO2
In 2021 the Foundation established the Novo Nordisk Foundation CO2 Research Center. The centre aims to identify innovative solutions to capture and recycle carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and thereby contribute to reducing the rise in global temperature. We helped share this story with the world.
AI supercomputer
Denmark entered into a collaboration with NVIDIA to establish a national centre for AI innovation that will house one of the world’s most powerful AI supercomputers in Denmark. The goal is to accelerate research and innovation in fields from healthcare and life sciences to the green transition, supporting the development of innovative solutions to the world’s biggest problems. But what’s a supercomputer and how to make use of it?
