The biotechnology pitch deck

Interna is a biotechnology company dedicated to intercellular delivery of drugs. They have developed the so-called Molecular Nano-Motor (MNM), which can cross cell membranes to deliver large molecules into intercellular targets. All quite complicated matters that are hard to explain; and even harder to pitch in, when you’re looking for investors to raise capital. We therefore joined forces to come up with a compelling pitch slide deck.

The perfect combination of business and science

Interna is working with different groups of potential investors and partners. Therefore, a one-fits-all presentation doesn’t work. Instead, we came up with specific variants to meet the target group’s different needs. Every slide-deck was a carefully considered balance between business vs. science and explaining vs. persuading.

Establishing a visual classification

Working with Interna for the general branding and style direction, we’ve created a system of different design elements to meet the various content, contexts, and formats. Among others, this included detailed 3D renders for scientific models, illustrations for medical instruments, and icons for simple compositions. We made sure all elements were coherent and complemented each other throughout the whole presentation.

It’s not rocket science, but almost

Biotechnology is highly complicated information – especially for investors not dealing with the subject on a regular basis. It’s a fine balance of simplifying without oversimplifying and loose substance. We make sure to explain all information and data as clearly, compelling and powerful as possible, keeping the right amount of detail level.
